Job Description:
-The engineer will be involved in the design and development of LTE CPE/ UE Devices using the standard chip-sets and other baseband circuits for hand held reference designs.
-Tasks may include requirements definition, analysis of design trade-offs, analysis of baseband circuits at the board and component level, assisting in PWB layout, design verification of the platform, integration across disciplines, transition into production and on-going support of the platform's internal customer base.

Responsibilities:
-Under the leadership of a technical lead, the engineer will be responsible for researching requirements, analyzing design trade-offs, developing/refining the hardware design, performing lab DVT/integration, migration of the design into manufacturing and supporting internal users.
-Candidate must quickly assimilate onto an existing project, demonstrate strong problem solving abilities and work closely with baseband, RF, software and power management disciplines.

- Wi-FI, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, Z-wave

Skills and experience:
- The ideal candidate possesses 6+ years of design experience as a baseband hardware engineer for WCDMA/CDMA/LTE/GSM wireless handsets (CPE/UE Devices)
- Candidate must have board level experience with high speed digital circuits, baseband/analog circuits, low power designs, design validation and integration. Strong low level design expertise, working knowledge of Broadcom chipset, Wi-Fi and CODEC/ SLIC, and Qualcomm chipsets for LTE CPE/ UE Devices
- Z-wave module (Home Automation/Alarm) experience
