The Machining Production Manager’s responsibility includes but is not limited to:
Reports to the Plant Manager
Subordinates should be shift supervisor/machining engineer
-To lead the team to fulfill the operational KPI such as quality, cost, delivery, safety, efficiency, etc
-Managing, training, developing shift supervisors and engineers
-As the key player to lead the lean project by associate with finance and other functions to optimizing the working process, eliminate the wasters, control the cost and delivery the productivity results
-Manage the day to day operations including 5S, discipline, EHS, quality issue and problem solving, Headcount/Manning plan based on workload changes, over time/attendance control, in order to satisfy the customer demand.
-To develop standard operating procedures and training kits to support stable operation and quality safety performance
-To achieve department target DOS, safety, labor efficiency, OEE and costing saving
-Improving equipment capacity, capability and personnel performance
-Problems solving and improvement on site
-To be responsible for on-site machining scrap analysis and reduction
-To be involved in new machining program
-Others as plant manager assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Academic:
Bachelor graduate in machining or related engineering
Experience
Minimum 10 years in machining industry, over 3 years working experience as production manager
Lean production knowledge
Knowledge of TS16949 and ISO14001
