Job description
To successfully manage assigned EPC related projects in accordance with company procedures and in support of the overall objectives of Project Operations including maintenance of backlog, continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance. Has prime responsibility for the successful completion of assigned projects.
His / Her tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Establish professional relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Manage the interest of all stakeholders in the project.
· Create the conditions to enable effectively working teams. (A balanced team)
· Facilitate the personal development of assigned team members.
· Prepare sub-contract strategy, select sub-contractors, and negotiate contracts and control.
· Report relevant new business opportunities to manager.
· Actively contribute to continuous improvement in business processes and practices.
· Adhere to the highest standards of business ethics and corporate governance in line with the Atlas Copco code of conduct.
· Assesses feasibility of the incoming requests, in all aspects (business opportunities, technical, commercial, financial risks…).
· Makes basic equipment selection and translate further specific customer needs into viable solutions.
· Estimates costs and determines the transfer price.
· Determines correct and feasible delivery time, through project planning.
· Develop project charter, first as proposal file, then as contract file after order.
· Provides for / coordinates the processing of the project in iC3, BPCS / POLS and dispatch.
· Participates in meetings with customers, inspection agencies and Systems / Customer Centers (packaging centers) if required.
· Accurately report the status (resources, technical issues, customer satisfaction) of assigned projects on all key metrics.
· Has an eye for the safety of the product.
· Initiates / plans / executes / monitors & controls / closes project processes.
· Consults with Systems / Customer centers to carry out the work and determine the most efficient approach to execute the order.
· Maintain good relationships with Systems / Customer centers.
· Supports Systems / Customer centers where necessary.
· Willing to travel abroad, limited in duration and number.
Internally you have contact with production methods, procurement, testing, marketing, AIF design department, production，shipping, finance. Your external contacts include: suppliers, Airtec / Wuxtec Engineering, GECIA, Systems centers, Engineering contractors, customer centers, customers, inspection agencies, Service.
You will report to the manager of Systems Wuxi.

Experience requirements
· Is well acquainted with the Oil-free Air Products and Atlas Copco Compressor Technique organization (minimum 5 years’ experience within the Oil-free Air product company).
· More than 6 years experience in professional project management and proven experience in delivery of complex technology based projects to the process industries.
· Leadership experience in a professional engineering environment
· Experience in management of EPC projects or international projects is preferred
· DCS (Distributed Control System) Project Management experience is preferred.
· Application knowledge in one or more key vertical markets (Energy/Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Chemicals, Air separation...)
· Smooth with IT tools such as BPCS, Lotus Notes, Excel, Word, ...

Educational requirements
· Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
· Mandarin mother tongue and good knowledge of English
· Must have written and oral communication skills at all levels of the organization
· Must have time management skill, able to multitask and manage priorities
