JOB PURPOSE:
To plan, order, develop and implement manufacturing systems/operations for new processes, machine cells, tooling, material handling, heat treat, painting process etc. to reduce cost, raise quality and improve responsiveness for an assigned project.

JOB DUTIES:
This position will be responsible for seeking improvements of manufacturing processes by coordinating all the functions needed to integrate MES and production equipment.
1. Enhancing the existing applications and determining feasibility of new applications are continuing challenges of this assignment.
2. Implements integrated computer software for assigned area and follows to ensure application satisfies requirements. By using simulation tools to assure that systems will result in efficient/effective responses.
3. Provides guidance and assistance to technicians engaged in developing systems for project and confers with appropriate personnel to provide input in purchasing decisions, material handling equipment, inspection gauging and computer software and hardware.
4. Promotes processes that produce profitable methods of manufacturing and must remain aware of new technology to ensure processes are cost effective.
5. Utilizes supportive efforts of other department personnel to develop applications, implement changes, etc. and gains acceptance of new or revised processes and implementation procedures.
6. Take responsibility on painting process to the engine, which covered new project imported and dairy work to support operations.
Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: This position requires thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts, painting operations, etc., gained through acquisition of an appropriate technical or university degree. Most possess appropriate language and communication skills.
