JOB PURPOSE
- The role of a Project Buyer is to anticipate the specific requirements for new projects (supplier technologies,

geographical location and target costs), and to ensure the commodity strategy is appropriate to support the
acquisition. The role continues to select and pilot suppliers from the approved supplier list in order to achieve Project objectives.
The main missions of the role are to:
- Contribute to the conception of the quotation tocustomer.
- Participate in the project team from the quotation conception.
- Phase/Customer Enquiry Review (CER) phase, involve expert suppliers in the early project phase.
- Support sales and engineering with project cost / pricing objectives in close cooperation with the Commodity
The main missions of the role are to:

- Support sales and engineering with project cost / pricing objectives in close cooperation with the Commodity
Buyer and up-to-date process know-how.
- Ensure supplier selection from the approved supplier list: identify, in accordance with the commodity buyer,

REPORTING
- To the local Purchasing Manager / Regional Purchasing Director for measures and direction.
- To the Project/Platform Manager for project related supplier performance
- The Project Buyer will monitor and maximise performance by means of daily, weekly and monthly measures.
Require:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a project purchasing function within an automotive environment.
- English (oral and written) fluent, one extra KA language.
- Relevant Degree Qualification.
- Communication Skills.
- Excellent Negotiation Skills.
- Team Player.
- Analytical Skills.
- Driving Licence.
- Willing To Travel Internationally.
- PC Skills / ERP Experience.
- Ensure early involvement of the plant buyers in the project before the series phase.
