Responsibilities:

1. RFQ drawing and development of commercial solution;
2. Establish the strategy for cost optimization;
3. Data collection and analysis through marketing investigation & survey;
4. Cost estimates and gap analyses for forward model programs;
5. Support production purchasing and non-production purchasing to achieve cost saving;
6. Managing the preparation of project level Capital Cost Estimates;
7. Development & maintenance of Capital Cost estimating systems & methods at the project level;
8. Development & control of the Capital Cost Estimating Execution plan for the project;
9. Liaise with purchasing, PM, manufacturing, sales, engineering and finance department;
10. Analysis of current market pricing for equipment, material, consumables, labor (including all direct & indirect cost)
11. Review commercial impact of project change orders or variations from project team or sub-contractors, etc.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree with 3 to 5 years experience as cost estimator in automotive or related industry;
2. Be familiar with relevant Chinese and international codes and standards;
3. Sales knowledge in similar industry background;
4. Fluent speaking and writing in English;
5. Strong interpersonal skills;
6. Be able to work under pressure to meet challenging objectives on multiple projects.
