321716 Segment Sales Manager - High Temp, Tube China

Sandvik Materials Technology, a world-leading manufacturer of high value-added products in advanced materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials. The product areas comprise Tube, Strip, Primary Products, Wire and Heating Technology. In 2012 sales were about SEK 15,400 M with 7,300 employees.
The position would directly report to RSM - Tube Customized Products, Gt. China, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance areas:
· By leading a field sales team, to develop Sandvik Tube sales and market position in Gt. China market in the High Temperature and Environmental Industry along with the PA Tube Strategy
· This position deliver the result by performing below tasks and responsibilities successfully
· Develop Annual Sales plan and budget ( Sales Volume, Activities, Cost, Manning, NWC),
· Follow up the market intelligence and communicate with various stakeholders
· Explore the opportunities within the segment and develop way of working to capture opportunities
· Develop the team competence by coaching, dialogues, identify /providing necessary trainings with support functions
· Organize the sales team member responsibilities and alignments; ensure full understanding of the expectations, feedbacks.
· Organize and support the sales activities, negotiations, by acquiring necessary resource.
· Develop strong team working spirit to aim for continuously improving group work efficiency
· Set targets for the team and team members and follow up the performance, take actions to deviations
· Run annual dialogues in performance and development plans,
· Communicate with managers or subordinates about the performance, deviations, supports needed
· Apply and implement value based selling principles when negotiating sales prices with customers.
· To maintain, and seek continuous improvement within the scope of SMT Business System (e.g. World Class Sales methodology).
· To provide a high level of customer service, working closely with other members of the sales team as required.
· Act as the ambassador of the company to establish appropriate image to customers
· Lead the sales team and support marketing communication activities,
· Participate the global forums and contribute from China market perspective.
Your profile:
· 10 years working experience is required, in which 5 years of experience in a sales role with good understanding of the sales skills and competence required
· 3 years sales management position is needed
· Bachelor degree or above in Technical, Marketing, Business or Communications
· Strong technical knowledge about products, applications, company and Business system.
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
