JOB DESCRIPTION
1 Accurately and safely perform necessary physical movements, system transactions, and verifications when required.
1.1 Coordinates the shipment of material.
1.2 Physically and systematically executes necessary material movements involving all types of material requiring shipment.
1.3 Utilizes scanners when appropriate for performing ERP transactions.
1.4 Operates any material handling equipment as needed.
1.5 Verifies necessary paperwork to ensure correct physical and system movement of material.
1.6 Stores materials in the shipping and receiving area if necessary.
1.7 Maintains organization of Bin Management and First In First Out maintenance.
1.8 Physically prepares materials for shipment.
1.9 Complete and verify correct shipment documentation to ensure product is delivered accurately and on time, including but not limited to: delivery documents, ship requests, return to vendor documents, commercial invoices, receiving documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and labels.
2 Protects Jabil's inventory investment and promotes ERP integrity through maintaining accuracy within the shipping and receiving areas.
3 Communicates with peers the status of the shipping and receiving area.
4 Continuously focuses on improving the Inventory Control operations.
5 Actively involved in communication throughout several functional areas for ensuring necessary material is shipped accurately and on time without disruption to the Customer.
5.1 Communicates with RMA personnel (Return Material Authorization) on necessary RMA shipments.
5.2 Communicates with the Materials department on shipments.
5.3 Communicates completed shipments to appropriate departments within the facility.
6 Other related duties as assigned which, could include:
6.1 Physical and system movement of material to other locations within the Operation.
6.2 Cycle counting the Shipping and receiving area.
6.3 Complete material disposition report forms.
6.4 Accurately backflush material in the ERP system.
6.5 Involved in the coordination and/or execution of a physical inventory.
Coordinate activities with other functional departments and workcell teams within the Operation.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

? Possess good skills in the following areas:
? Verbal and written communication
? Mathematics.
? High attention to detail.
? Computer application knowledge and/or experience is a plus.
? Demonstrate integrity and enthusiasm in striving for excellence.
? Ability to physically operate material handling tools and machinery (training will be provided).
? Ability to physically move material when necessary.
? Ability to work overtime and travel as needed.
? Ability to work with challenging deadlines and frequently changing priorities.
? A High school diploma or an equivalent.
? Experience with the current ERP system is preferred, but not required.
Previous experience in Inventory Control is preferred, but not required.
