KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ABILITIES:
? Develop strong relationships with upstream product development and innovation leaders at Automotive OEM
? Develop and refine business development plans in line with Dura’s business strategy
? Work closely with marketing & engineering to inform them of customer needs and the potential impact on product plans
? Work with customers to bring new Dura concepts to joint development agreements, prototypes all of which resulting in to production volume sales.
? Have the ability to discuss new technologies – both Dura offerings as well as understanding customer needs
? Ability to listen to the customer and develop insights
? Strategize how the organization can create more growth opportunities.
? Initiate various business plans, in order to enhance the overall growth of the organization
? Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the prospective clients, existing customers and various business partners.
? Interface with OEM strategy developers
? Comfortable in situations that are fluid and ambiguous
? Ability to develop and implement a structured path for new business development
? Willingness and capability to learn new technologies
? Strong and proactive in driving new business development
? Collaborative while working closely in a multifunctional team
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
? Engineering degree (preferred)/ strong technology background with ability to grasp mechatronics and new technologies.
? MBA preferred
? Good track record in developing new emerging businesses in a technology environment
? The ideal candidate has to have a strong background (10+ years) and demonstrated experience in sales and business development in a B2C, B2B, OEM and automotive Tier One services setting, particularly working with senior level decision-makers.
? He/she will have a unique ability to build relationships and develop market, sales and future technology networks, along with highly developed account management skills.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:
? 10+ years of Automotive Tier-1 or OEM experience
? Bachelor's Degree (Technical or Business preferred)
? MBA preferred
? Technical / Engineering experience
? OEM customer interface
? Cross-functional collaboration / interface
