Design Calculation and Project Engineer
Job description
- As engineering responsible for the centrifugal compressor core you will focus on the Aero design tasks.
-For existing MK1 machine, you are supposed to continue redesign to improve the functional performance.
- For non-standard orders within a given predefined range, you make an adapted centrifugal compressor design to meet the specific clients requirements.
-For new MK2 machine, you would get involved in completely new design of Frame 2 and Frame 3.
- You are supposed to give technical support to field follow up and internal quality control activity from view of engineering side.
- You will follow up and coordinate the cooperation between headquarter engineering team and local engineering team.
-You will take lead for the local engineering project.
-You are supposed to evaluate and give comment on the test results.
Core qualifications (diploma/education requirements) and experiences needed (essential for the positions):
Experience requirements
Experience in aero dynamic and mechanical product design or manufacturing is an asset
Knowledge
Crucial to master the knowledge of turbo machines.
Essential to have a good apprehension of written and spoken English.
Having good computer skills, in particular knowledge of 3D CAD modelling.
Educational requirements
In the possession of a university degree in mechanical engineering
Personality requirements
Ability to effectively act as communicative link between colleagues in different departments (engineering, manufacturing, service,...) and in different continents.
Self motivated and able to work autonomously.
