Job Summary
Processes sales orders received by e-mail, mail, telephone, or personally from customer or company employee by performing the following duties:
Direct Responsibilities:
1 Lead project with team. Manage a new project from NPI till mass production, organize related department to accomplish the project efficiently and successfully.
2 Processes customer's requests for quotes, enter quotes into web quote system and submit to Estimating.
3 Follow up the sample with sample team and send the sample to the customer. Work with QA department to get the PPAP report and send to the customer for approval.
4 Audit orders received for price, quantity, delivery, revision level. Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer. Enter orders to web order entry system and follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates. Save copy of order into shared folder per ISO procedure.
5 Initial ECN with customer change request/complaint to engineering department and follow up the open work orders until it closed.
6 Ascertains credit rating of customer; advises customer of changes in terms.
7 Follow up customer’s forecast, check inventory control and notify stock control departments of orders/forecast that would deplete stock. Advise purchasing department of cancellations/forecast drop down that require material cancellations.
8 Coordinates special packing or labeling requirements needed. When required.
9 Sources materials for customer applications. Check material available stock across all entities.
10 Receives and checks customer complaints as based on ISO procedure. Issue CNCR to QA. Address, follow up and close customer complaints with QA department. Issue credit note request if needed as dispose actions.
11 Confers with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
12 Follow up with custom and logistics department for shipment made from HK to customers. Email shipping document to 13 Attempts to sell additional merchandise to customer.
13 Compiles statistics and prepares various reports for management.
14 Work with Finance department to chase for overdue payment from customer if needed.
15 On going new assignment that related to customer service.
Key Qualifications:
1 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 2 One year certificated from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write memos and letters that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, sales groups, engineers, and/or customers.
4 MUST READ, WRITE AND SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH.
5 Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
6 Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
