Department: Procurement

Report to: Procurement Director

Subordinate: None

Location: Shanghai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for the business management and administration of supplier quality in accordance with company standards in Shanghai and Yingkou plant

2. Evaluate suppliers comprehensively in accordance with company policy

3. Work with Procurement Managers to identify and verify potential suppliers

4. In cooperation with procurement managers arrange audits and visits to check the service level and confirm the supplier's compliance to our requirements.

5. Ensure technical & quality requirement are clearly communicated, understood and accepted by our suppliers

6. Make the analysis of quality problems, evaluate and analyze the reason, identify root cause and raise the proposals to correct and prevent

7. Work with suppliers and internal departments to solve problems and continuously improve quality ensuring issues are monitored and corrective actions implemented

8. Analyze suppliers quality documents and certification

9. Coordinate with procurement, supplier and R&D to ensure we operate an efficient sample management process

10. Cooperate with Procurement Manager & R&D to support reducing complexity and drive optimizing standard items

11. Provide regular reports to the Procurement Director regarding supplier quality performance, corrective action implementation and overdue issues

12. Proactively use your knowledge and requirements of quality to support continuous improvements in the company and at our suppliers

13. Other tasks assigned by the Procurement Director

14. Comply with all company's regulations

Qualification:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry, Engineering, Business Management or other related fields

2. Qualified auditor for TS16949, ISO 9001 Quality Standard and ISO14001 Environment Standard.

3. At least 6 years related working experience

4. Good command of English in both written and oral

5. In depth understanding of raw material for producing lubricant, grease, etc.

6. Proficiency on computer.

7. Excellent communication skills, strong capabilities of problem analysis and solving and able to work independently
