OVERVIEW

The Finance Assistant is responsible for providing transactional processing and timely reporting, preparing accounts and administrative support in order to ensure efficient, accurate and timely financial activities and administrative operations.

KEY FUNCTIONS – HSEQ

• Ensure all the work is in accordance with the HSEQ system, report any non-conformances to the relevant HSEQ Representative and interface with the HSEQ Representatives on any HSEQ issues/initiatives.
• All personnel shall comply with the company HSEQ requirements as described in the HSEQ Manual and procedures. Also personnel must comply with specified client HSEQ requirements as appropriate.
• All personnel must endeavor to foster a strong safety, health and environmental culture through adherence to the requirements, personal commitment, example and behavior.

KEY FUNCTIONS – FINANCE

• Assist with the Sales Invoicing Process including the generation and control of VAT invoices using the statutory Tax System.
• Monthly verify input VAT invoices using the statutory online tax platform.
• Monthly verify output VAT invoices to ensure VAT system in line with Kingdee system.
• Assist on preparation and submission of all tax returns (VAT, income tax, stamp duty, property tax, etc.) and other statutory returns on a timely basis.
• Assist preparation of monthly management accounts and other monthly reporting including reconciliations for financial accounts and maintaining appropriate supporting schedules.
• Monthly prepare accounts payable including reconciliation of payments and receipts in Kindee system.
• Ensure timely accounting booking activities in Kingdee.
• Timely filling all the vouchers and other finance related files.
• Other task assign by Line Manager

KEY FUNCTIONS – PROCUREMENT & ADMIN

· Administer procurement records

· Research new requirements & assist with implementation

· Property/Vehicle Insurance Claims – coordinate the claims process and liaise with brokers as required.

· Timely filing all the contracts.

· Scan all the invoices for both in & out, delivery note, agreement etc.

· Assist on all business licenses and certificates applying for renewals or additional licenses as and when necessary.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Education

· College or above level in relevant field

Job Specific

• Accountant License or Taxation License.

EXPERIENCE

• At least one year experience working relevant field.
• Experience of standard Chinese accounting package software such as Kingdee.
