About the position:
Provide supervision in all aspects of managing a new production area in an international company.
Take a lead role in developing the production planning, maintaining and developing the processes in order to increase efficiency and quality, and managing and developing the employees. Organize and manage the environmental, health and safety issues in the workshop, and initiate incremental improvement programs.
Requirements:
1. 4-5 years or above with hands-on experience and supervision of a mechanical production department in an international company
2. Bachelor degree or above, specialized in chemical or mechanical process engineering,
3. Good communication skill in Chinese, English and or German.
4. Good leadership for workers.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall management of the production area; self-motivating and motivating all the other staff in production.
2. Organizing and planning for workshop including machinery, personal and flow-charts.
3. Oversee the production schedule in relation to the confirmed shipping date
4. Co-operating with the QC department in order to analyze failure/scrap and improve the scrape rate and, ensuring the operators in production department to fulfill quality policies.
5. Maintaining the machinery and facilities, ensuring the facilities, machines and tools are in good working conditions by effective daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance plans
6. In co-operation with HR prepare the training and career development plans for all employees.
7. Conduct periodical interview and performance appraisal, and - based on performance, evaluate salaries/wages for all the employees.
8. Full responsible for Safety, Environment and Health issues.
9. Engage the employees in incremental improvement programs as LEAN, Kaizan or Six Sigma.
