Essential Duties and Responsibilities ：include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Experience working with metals and wire related products. To include wire drawing, heat treating and general metallurgy.
Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Designs products or systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and
mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems.
Plans and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems.
Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.
Designs products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.
Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff members regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate plant production processes.
Understand and translate complex or diverse information; collects and researches data; designs work flows and procedures.
Develops project plans; coordinates projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and budget.
Balances team and individual responsibilities; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills：
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Fluent in oral and written English.

Mathematical Skills ：
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability ：
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills：
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and AutoCAD.
