职位描述：
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
主要工作职责：
? Lead sourcing of major commodity items for HPS China business unit
? Analyze potential suppliers in our market
? Assist in the development of cost saving measures through the improvement process (Kaizen)
? Evaluate proposals from vendors and negotiate terms that meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives
? Work with Product Engineers to develop cost effective product components
? Work closely with manufacturing management to ensure inventory goals are met
? Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance and lead improvement efforts
? Establish and maintains rapport with all levels of supplier personnel and internal customers
? Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
? BS degree in supply chain management or engineering
? 3+ years of experience in a materials role involving sourcing activities for a manufacturing operation
? Must be able to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings
? Must have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
? Familiarity with Quality systems, processes, and requirements
? Demonstrated negotiations experience
? Strong analytical skills
? Strong project management skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
? Ability to travel (domestic and International) on business related trips;
? Ability to move to various locations within the Company;
? Ability to communicate;
? Ability to work on a personal computer or other related equipment as required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
? Experience working with SAP
? Understanding of, or experience working with international logistics
