Essential duties and responsibilities:

·Supervise &co-ordinate the daily activities of the CCU Engineering dept. Carry out detail design/ engineering work on standard& non-standard products as directed by accordance with GEA standards.

·Carry out technical review of all sales orders received for CCU products& process through to manufacture completion& dispatch.

·Preparation& issue of manufacturing data, drawings& BOMs in accordance with target dates agreed with Production dept.

·Compliance with quality system procedures.

·Support Purchasing dept. on component selection, preparation of procurement specifications& inspection/ technical evaluation of locally sourced components.

·Ensure that all standard manufacturing information& drawings/ engineering data is maintained up to date& distributed to relevant depts.. Prepare& control project files for all sales orders.

·Technical supervision& training of Assembly Team Leaders& Operatives.

·Take initiative on continuous improvement of products& processes related to quality& cost.

·Carry out technical review of all sales enquiries for non-standard products, prepare engineering data, calculate costs& issue to sales.

·Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Sales, QA& Purchasing departments.

·Promote a working environment where commitment, willingness to collaborate, development (including training)& creativity of individual employees is encouraged.

Education:

BSME or similar degree required.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years proven professional experience supervising an engineering department supporting the production of HVAC products.

Skills:

·A technical background with a high level of engineering experience.

·English fluent (written& spoken) essential.

·AutoCAD Inventor 3D, PC skills to a professional user level.

Goal orientated& decisive.

Assertive, self-confident, with strong leadership& interpersonal skills (incl. motivating people).

Strong organizational& planning abilities.

Analytical& strategic thinking with a structured& systematic approach to problem solving.

A team player.
