Job Profile:

People:
To clearly describe, assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the outlets.
To work closely with training managers, outlet supervisors and departmental trainers to ensure that all team members receive the appropriate training to perform their daily tasks in a highly professional manner.
To ensure the participation of team members in non departmental trainings sessions.
To ensure that yearly performance and development review is done for all concerned.
To attend all meeting as requested.
To fulfil duty manager role when applicable.
To be fully familiar with internal disciplinary procedures, terms and conditions of employment.

Quality:
To be fully familiar with company brand standards.
To monitor standards through regular standards audits.
To administrate and plan the food & beverage department to meet the daily needs of operation.
To work with outlets in testing and experimental projects to upgrade product or procedures.
To further develop on the health, safety and environment friendliness aspects of legislation.
To maintain and improve database management.
To stay aware of trends, practices and equipment in f&b fields, company policies and trade literature.
To coordinate translation of all menus and promotional activities.

Customer
Ensures that SALT results are in line with targets, and high on a consistent basis.
Monitors SALT results, communicate them to the teams, and use them to identify training required.
Maintains a high customer service focus, for oneself and team.
Aims at providing customers with an enjoyable and memorable food & beverage experience.
Constantly strives to increase guests satisfaction through quality, creativity, range and value for money of the food and beverage offerings available throughout the property.
To review and evaluate regularly the guest acceptance of the individual restaurants and banquet services.

Profit:
To ensure that revenue objectives are exceeded by maintaining and increasing creativity and merchandising.
To develop with the aid of the outlets the operating tools necessary to budget, forecast, purchase specifications, menu abstracts, operating policies, etc.
To assist the outlets in establishing and achieving profit and productivity objectives and desired standards of quality food, service.
To confer with management on reports, forecasts, budgets, policy and future planning.
To ensure effective control of food, beverage, and labour cost.
To participate with the chef and outlet managers in analysing, evaluating and writing of attractive and creative menus, incorporating local regional cuisine, seasonable packages, etc., designed to attract a diversified customer market.
To ensure creation and execution of special events and promotions activities.

Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience of running an efficient and professional food and beverage operation.
A proven track record of working to hotel and company standards whilst increasing revenue, profit along with guest and team member satisfaction.
Experience of managing a team.
Ability to motivate a team.
Ability to train.
Able to collect and analyse relevant information and provide solutions.
Able to demonstrate influencing skills.
Able to plan ahead, developing contingency plans where necessary.
