Job Title : QA Manager
Functional Area : Quality Assurance
Reports To : General Manager
1. Summary of position:
To establish, implement and maintained the process needed for the company's quality management system and reporting to the top management on the performance of the quality management system including any need for improvement.
2. Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
?To strategize, manage and control performance of Quality Assurance according to Company's objectives.
?To maintain and continuously improve the quality management system for ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 and ISO 13485.
?To act as the Management representative for all external audits pertaining to ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, ISO14001, ISO 13485, customer's audit and potential customer's audits.
?To lead development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of systems and processes that ensure the correct documentation, information and instructions are available for use and that changes are implemented in a timely manner.
?To lead and facilitate cross-functional business processes that supports the overall quality system. Responsible in promoting the awareness of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organization.
?To manage the Customer Complaints Management process by working closely with various department to investigate and provide advice to resolve product quality issues.
?To resolve customers' feedback on quality issues and be responsible for Supplier Audit Initiatives.
?To identify and trigger continuous improvement projects to reduce deviation in process through FMEA, SPC, DOE and benchmarking.
3. Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:
?Strong knowledge in the implementation of quality systems for automotive (ISO/TS16949), Medical (ISO13485) and Environmental (ISO14001).
?Competent in Statistical and Quality Tools such as SPC, MSA, FMEA and CPK analysis.
?Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers; good communications skills in English and Mandarin.
?Strong knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications such as MS Words, Excel and Power Point.
4. Typical Working Experience:
?Eight years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in plastics injection molding.
5. Education
?At least a Diploma in Quality Engineering.
