Purpose of the position:
This position is accountable for key account spot quotation related activities to achieve agreed service levels includes:
     -To act as gate keeper to handle Ad hoc pricing requests received by customer for air and ocean opportunities.
     -To ensure customer satisfaction on all services rendered, matching or exceeding Service Performance Target(s) defined and agreed upon in SLA to continuously seek and address areas of potential improvement and optimization (processes, win/loss analysis etc…)

Critical success factors:
-Working ompliance along quotation standards
-Readiness of mind, concentrated/accurate/reliable mode of pricing coordination
-Timely response regarding customer requirements
-Deep dive into win/loss analysis to improve success ratio

Key Tasks:
Basic Responsibility:
Follow working instructions agreed in SLA
     -Standardized procedure for ad hoc quotation
     -Ad hoc quotations and quotation winning analysis
     -Performance reporting & Conference calls with profound analysis and address/escalate irregularities to related parties
      (GBS Management, KAM, Function Management etc.)
     -Standardized feedback to product on MSR used
     -Success monitoring on trade lane
CIP: improvement proposals in mark up or in process
Attention to all customized instructions, knowledge of pricing / trade-lane / product
Quality responsibility along GBS / PA standards

Pricing Coordinator Task Management
Ensure quotation availability and support Key Account Manager(s) to win business
Address quotation issue to relevant Key Account Manager(s) make sure issues are solved
Communicate and issue quotation to ad-hoc quotations requests, in line with margin guidance provided by Key Account Manager.

Customer Relationship
Act as a point of contact for customer pricing inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable business relationship
Participate in KAM regular Business Review Meetings as required

Decision Making Authority:
Opportunity specific pricing on Key Account (ad hoc/spot quotes) as per profit guidelines provided by Key Account Manager

Function- Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working:
Good knowledge of the air freight industry
Good knowledge of the ocean freight industry
Good knowledge of forwarding systems
Ability to review, analyze and understand performance reports

Organization skills including prioritizing, planning, assigning and controlling objectives
High ability to define problems, analyze facts and determine valid solutions to resolve the issues

Educational background / Work experience:
College graduate or above
Professional experience: 2 year above relevant professional experience. preferred

Language Skills:
Excellent English is mandatory(written and spoken)
Other languages especially Chinese (written and spoken) a plus

Computer Literacy:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software(Excel, Word, PowerPoint and others), expert of Excel and PowerPoint preferred
Knowledge of Panalpina Applications preferred
