Job Responsibilities:

This group is responsible for innovative and reliable applications that help manufacturing get product introduced to the factory and out the door. You will participate in all phases of software development and contribute to complex Manufacturing Engineering assignments, working with Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing personnel and global software development team.


The successful candidate will:

- Design and implement high quality software solutions based on business requirements.
- Work with UML, use cases, activity, class, and sequence diagrams, etc. in the full life cycle development of applications.
- Contribute to organization/corporate methodologies and standards and best-practices
- Remain up-to-date on technology changes, industry standards and the competitive market through self-study and working with senior staff.
- Research product development options and provide analysis for product direction.
- Have strong design experience and be knowledgeable of the various design patterns.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science (4 year degree) in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience with full software life cycle (requirements, design, develop, deploy, and support).
- 5+ years experience with Object Oriented development in Java.
- 3+ years experience with Java Enterprise Editions.
- Applicants must understand the Java application server and have experience with at least one of the vendor implementations such as JBoss, Oracle, WebLogic, etc., JBoss is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with Servlets, EJB, JDBC, and JSP is required.
- Knowledge of other technologies in the Java Enterprise platform is a plus.
- Experience with Java Swing and Java Web Start development is desired.
-3+ years experience in application design/architecture and implementation, including design patterns, UML, class models, object interaction, database schemas, and software design specifications
- 3+ years experience with relational database management systems, preferably Oracle 10 and Oracle 11.
- Must have excellent written, verbal communication and analytical skills
- Strong English skill (verbal and written), can work with global software development team.
- Team player
- Familiarity with Manufacturing or electronic instrumentation is a plus.
