Business Analyst

Location: Based in China / Work Remotely (WFH)

Zuri, a fast-growing modern home furnishings retailer and e-tailer at United States, is looking for an analytical, yet articulate, Senior Business Analyst to join our back-office team at China.

In this role, you will have exposure to several segments of the business including digital marketing, online catalog management, procurement management and supply chain logistics.

The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience, a strong sense of urgency while maintaining keen attention to detail as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role allows for great independence and we need someone who can work under little to no supervision.

Responsibilities:

Projects Can Include:

• Working with flat files, web data and product information in excel
• Evaluate inventory forecasting based on assumptions and projections on a weekly basis
• Working with freight companies and vendors to manage projects of containers loading
• Effectively communicate both in oral and written with vendors, distributors, and international divisions.
• Work cross functionally with Supply Chain, Souring Operations and Quality Control teams on the day to day production activities
• Monitor supplier KPIs and work with Procurement & Sourcing Operations teams to drive corrective actions as needed to ensure high performance and continuous improvement – such as bring new vendors, products or make improvements on current products.
• Perform exploratory data analysis for brands, customers, markets, and channels to identify new areas of opportunity
• Heavy excel data entry and data model organization
• Exposure to corporate finance decisions
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Operations, Business or Mathematics disciplines. required
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst position, required
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision on multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptionally strong math skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, required
• Prior eCommerce experience, required
• Experience in database analysis, not required but beneficial
• Experience with Amazon, Houzz, or other 3rd party marketplaces, not required but beneficial
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision on multiple projects simultaneously
• Read, write, and speak fluent English and Mandarin
