Main Purpose of the Job:

This position supports the existing water management team in China, working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. The role will be to work closely with internal and external clients on all aspects of our water management projects delivering high quality products on time and on budget. This position promotes a culture of ‘Safety First’, and ensures H&S Regulations and internal policies are adhered to in day-to-day work; working in a safe manner and challenging co-workers, including non ARCADIS staff, if actions appear unsafe.

On the job technical training will be provided but experienced-level knowledge of key technical services (such as urban water management, water environment, etc. ) will be an advantage.

Lead support regarding the development of proposals, reporting, and client interaction with the guidance from Principal and Director, as required. Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

- Production of planning, technical reports, detailed design and engineering plans and specifications. Work involves: urban water management, sponge city，climate adaptation, sustainability.

- Research feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions and regulatory specifications.

- Support development of plans, requests for proposals, and tender documents.

- Work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office / project staff, client and sub-contractors, throughout the project life cycle and therefore should have clear and concise, oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports.
