Essential Duties and Responsibilities:主要职责：
1. Review supplier’s processes and identify improvement opportunities in processes and systems at supplier locations to improve quality, cost and flow of supplied materials throughout the entire supply chain.

2. Manage the present suppliers with prompt update of price and manage the Agreements with the present suppliers and new vendors, all documentation related to purchasing contract, Purchase Order, Tooling Contracts and First Sample inspection reports.

3. Support the suppliers to conduct continuous improvement to reduce cost over a period of time.

4. Evaluate the feasibility of the China sourcing strategy with the supply chain management team of individual companies by means of vendor search and working out the RFQ. Interact closely with quality and product engineering team to comprehend the specifications and requirements and precisely communicate to the suppliers. Should understand various quality standards required for specific commodities.

5. Work with New Product Development (NPD) teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.

6. Interact with NPD teams to ensure suppliers are involved in development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability.

7. Use project management skills and tools to investigate alternate component technologies for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability and implements changes.

8. Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value, cost, delivery and technology.

9. Conduct supplier system and process audits in compliance with Non supplier performance and monitoring goals and objectives.

11. Assist with quality problem resolutions

Qualifications: 任职要求
1. Education & Experience: BS in Engineering or Technical Degree with equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years experience in an engineering discipline with concentration on Supplier Quality.
教育经历&工作经验：工程或技术相关本科学历和经验。至少5年的供应商质量管理经验。
2. Skills: 技能
a. Good interpersonal, project management and presentation skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize complex issues

b. Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner highly organized self-starter

c. Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems and use good judgment

d. Able to study the drawings and do cost model based on commodity.

e. Must have conducted sourcing across suppliers in China and have proven track record in building supply base from start. Have fundamental understanding of commodity strength of various provinces in china.

f. Expertise in cost reduction initiatives and new product development with good understanding of quality processes and statistical control methods.有降低成本意识，有新产品开发和质量意识，懂得统计管理知识。
g. Technical detail-oriented, demonstrated ability to work in a highly regulated environment

h. Knowledge of ISO and other recognized international quality system standards

i. Ability to travel up at any point of time.

Preferred:
1. Commodity expertise: Sheet Metal, Castings, Machining, Plastic, Electrical, Electronics parts for machinery company preferably Textiles.

2. Knowledge of world class quality techniques and implementation
