Job purpose:
·Regulatory compliance, adherence to supply agreements and Elos Medtech’s values
·Implement Elos Medtech Group procedures and documents as applicable
·Oversee performance of the company's production team and facilities to ensure revenue and manufacturing objectives are met.
·Drive a continuous improvement by introducing and deploying appropriate methodologies; training and awareness raising activities for function staff and organization
·Lead and allocate work and resources in the production function towards achieving company objectives
·Lead engineering team to enhance process capability and stability
·Lead and drive continuous improvement activities
Functional management:
·Daily production management
o Manage and achieve the right manning plan and shift arrangement to support production plan
o Lead and allocate work and resources in the production in line with objectives, activity plans and norms
o Manage and ensure daily OEE or productivity to meet company target
o Lead and implement troubleshooting activities
o Maintain a good operational log book
o Production dept human resource management
o 5S management in the workshop
·Scrap
o Oversee and ensure overall scrap rate meet company target
o Daily, weekly and monthly follow up scrap rate, failure mode and take initiative to take actions to reduce scrap rate to meet company target
·EHS
o Appropriately oversee and manage Environment, Health and Safety aspects of production dept
o Ensure the laws, regulations and policies of Environment, Health and Safety are fulfilled
·Training
o Make appropriate and effective training plans for new employees and ensure the training plan is executed 100% to make sure all the employees are trained with sufficient skills to start their work.
o Ensure skills gap and cross training programs are in place as well as identify future skills needs
·Maintenance
o Lead maintenance team to manage all facilities, ensuring preventative and regular maintenance programs are in place and operational requirements are met
o Maintain the maintenance record for all facilities in a structural way to achieve good traceability for each facility
·In process quality control
o Lead and contribute to strengthen in process quality control
o Lead engineering team to develop and enhance process capability
·New product introduction
o Support on new product introduction with good preparation, resource allocation, training and planning
·Problem solving
o Lead and drive problem solving activities using 5M methodology
o Support on customer complaint investigation
o Drive root cause analysis on different problems and ensure corrective and preventive actions are take and effective
·Continuous improvement
o Utilize leadership to drive the improvement on 5S and production process
o Drive and foster a culture of continuous improvement
o Drive and implement lean activities in production line
·Others
o Other tasks that are assigned by Manufacturing Manager
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
·Bachelor degree or above, manufacturing or mechanic relevant major
·6 years and above experience in machining area
·3 years and above experience in supervision position
·Good knowledge on CNC machining and maintenance is big plus
·Experience in foreign investment enterprise is preferable
·Medical device background is preferable
·Able to communicate in English
·Strong leadership in production team, familiar with lean, 6 sigma tools
·Good teamwork spirit, passion, trustworthy, result-oriented, detail oriented and able to work under pressure
