Role (Purpose of the job)
The Application Support carries out user support, identifies defects and proposes changes and improvement activities for application and server management.
Key Responsibility
· Provide excellent daily support on Contract Management System to protect on-going business.
· Proactively identify improvement areas including system, business process and IT support process.
· Monitor server performance and server management.
· Communicate with business key users, understand the business processes, to resolve issues as 2nd level support, and seek help from 3rd level support if issue cannot be resolved due to system bug or development.
· Monitor, escalate issue status with 3rd level support. Feedback and follow up result with users, in order to ensure issues are resolved within service level.
· Testing of system new requirement and communicate the solution to system users.
· Support users by explaining system capabilities and solving problems.
· Regularly communicate with business users and customers about service level, business requirements and seek feedback.
· Develop and enhance IT service management processes.
· Analyse business requirements and provide sound system solutions.
Main competence requirements
· Bachelor degree in IT related major.
· More than 2 years of working experience in service desk or application support.
· Proved documenting skills, good sense on knowledge management.
· Good communications skills and the ability to work well with people with diverse culture background.
· Strong initiative-taking and follow-through skills, strong ownership and sense of responsibility.
· Good thinking and problem solving skill, the ability to deal with ambiguity.
· Ability to work effectively in a flexible, changing and challenging environment, manage multiple activities and priorities and work well under pressure.
· Good business acumen and business knowledge in supply chain, working experiences in bank industry is a plus.
· Good learning agility.
· A good team player.
· Good business writing skills.
· Excellent oral and written English skills
