Job Title: Marketing Operation Specialist Work Location: Shanghai, China
Report to: Marketing Director Department: Marketing
Job Description:
? Scope/Summary:
Provide communications, event management and retail store build support to expand and growth the business in the Behr branded retail channel. In 2015, it is primarily built through dealer and master dealer recruitment. Provide timely in-market activity execution and competitive reports for improvement. Other duties may be assigned as required.
? Essential Functions:
1. Marketing event planning and execution, including exhibition, road-show, PR release, trade promotion and relevant customer engagement programs to support brand equity build & traffic drive objectives.
2. Responsible for supporting the execution of the annual trade promotion plan, including the creative management, POS production and logistic support to the retail channel.
3. Responsible for facilitating appointed supplier in the store build process.
4. Responsible for managing creative agency to provide program KV and creative for various marketing programs to ensure brand image consistency.
5. Quarterly competitive info collection and reporting; conduct customer study as required to proactive acquire market info., prepare program report for continuous improvement after completion.
? Previous Work Experience:
1. Min 3 years experience in marcom and retail operation preferably in consumer and retail business.
2. Min 3 years experience in managing creative agency and able to write effective agency briefing plan and manage agency communication independently.
3. Knowledge of category management and a track record of working closely with retail customers and demonstrate excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to influence the company’s retail agenda.
4. Person needs to be action-oriented and have the ability to understand issues and come up with creative solutions and to help turn the stores into that work beyond the transactional.
? Job Qualifications:
1. University graduate, preferably in business;
2. 3 years marketing communications program, retail program experience. Coating industry experience is a plus;
3. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English and Chinese;
4. Basic analytical skills and ability to effectively summarize and present information;
5. Good presentation skill;
6. Pleasant personality. Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
7. Strong aptitude and passion for customer service. Excellent attendance and reliability;
8. Detail oriented. Ability to prioritize, perform multi-tasking and troubleshoot;
? Other requirements
1. Flexible with working hours, and willing to travel and work in weekends as needed and is no less than 50%.
