Role Summary/Purpose

GE Capital China is looking for a highly effective Strategic Partnership & Marketing Manager， reporting to the President & CEO of Capital China, based in Shanghai. The candidate will work closely with various GE industrial/ GE Capital businesses, and Yingda joint venture to develop thought leadership and insight into partnership collaboration and growth opportunities, and to support GE Capital to accelerate growth strategies for “China to Global” and “Global to China” .

Essential Responsibilities
Coordinate GE input and facilitate smooth execution of key strategic projects for the joint venture. Requires ongoing coordination of a number of stakeholders, including tax, treasury, legal, compliance and accounting teams;
Effectively market the JV value proposition, capabilities and benefits across the GE China/GE Capital platforms to raise awareness, and build an ongoing dialogue, with a strong focus on building deep partnerships, and source business opportunities. In partnership with JV senior management team, assume responsibility for identifying growth opportunities for the JV beyond the current activities. Partner with GECC BD and commercial leadership on global basis to co-develop programs and opportunities for win-win outcome for GE/GECC and the JV; 
Develop strategic plan to accelerate GECC strategies for “China to Global” and “Global to China”. Support marketing activities to expand GE Capital’s influence and reach in China with a targeted client coverage program ;
Planned bond issuance project of the JV is of key strategic importance. Participate and support this initiative - discuss issues, ensure execution on track, identify risks to plan, and coordinate GE input and approval for relevant information memorandum to be presented to rating agencies and prospectus to be presented to investors and coordinate GE input and approval; 
Lead market analyses, build and maintain a data base of market knowledge that covers policy and regulatory implications, assess competitor strategies and performances, scan for external threats and opportunities; 
Point of call for informational and analytical needs of senior management and JV Board matters, with thought leadership and insights into strategic implication of that information

Qualifications/Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 8 years strategic marketing/ analytical experience, preferably with JV / Equity/ or BD investment, management consultancy, or a large global financial service corporation
Strong knowledge of GE Capital global business/operating model, and strategy, as well as of GE China various industrial businesses 
Ability to leverage strong existing network within GE Capital, in particular Finance, Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Risk, and use this network effectively to the benefit of the JV and the shareholders 
Able to operate at both strategic and tactical level. Strong business acumen, influencing & interpersonal skills with ability to influence and engage external stakeholders and at senior levels across the matrix organization, and create-win-win situations in multi-party environment 
Strong business acumen process management and execution focus, can-do-attitude, track-record at consistently delivering results timely and under pressure
Strategic thinking and strong commercial mindset, with a good sense to drive practical solutions to complex challenges, and ability to identify and grow commercial opportunities 
Bachelors / graduate degree 
Ability to travel within China on a regular basis 
Fluent in Chinese and English
