Job Summary
Based in Beijing office, the account manager will be responsible for selling Tektronix high performance test and measurement products, solutions and services to education and other design and manufacture customers in Beijing and Tianjin. Responsibilities will include developing relationships with major accounts as well as identifying and developing new business. You will work closely with local AE team to bring the Tektronix high performance products, solutions and service offerings to your accounts and execute sales plan to achieve the business target. |
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with major education accounts and other design and manufacture customers in assigned territory;
- Generate new business opportunity by phone, customer visits, and market events;
- Develop and manage a funnel of opportunities and activities;
- Collaborate closely with application engineering, technical marketing, and peer sales teams;
- Expand Tektronix market presence and reputation within the territory;
- Rigorously prioritize and follow up on all qualified leads provided by marketing or sales support team; energetically prospect for new business opportunities within your territory;
- Prepare required sales documentation (e.g., monthly forecast, trip reports, proposals and territory plans);
- Work closely with potential customers at all levels to understand customer requirements and manage business issues;
- Gain access to and influence the appropriate decision makers to manage any evaluation processes and bring business opportunities to a successful conclusion.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
- Minimum bachelor degree in EE, communication or computer, Master degree is preferable;
- Over 2 years sales experience required, education and college customer experience is preferable;
- Evidence of success in high tech products and solutions sales;
- Self-driven personality; high energy level;
- Demonstrated success managing a territory and using a CRM system;
- Experience working with application engineers and sales support resources;
- Field sales experience required;
- Excellent time management skills;
