Position Specification:

- Electrical component design for elevator application

- On-site support for product debugging and qualification base on Otis standard

Basic Accountabilities:

- Design of elevator components (controllers, modules, fixtures, etc)

- General electrical engineering support, including conducting tests in test towers or jobsites.

- Develop and execute the test plan for electrical components

- Documentation of engineering works including requirement, design documents, test reports, user's manuals etc according to Otis product development process

- Perform other duties as assigned and requested

- Correct and efficient performance of the tasks

- Complete the job on target with respect to quality, time, and cost

- Support others to achieve departmental work objectives

- Self-motivated for continuous improvement of product and personal skills to adapt external environment change.

Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Worldwide Otis Engineering partners, Manufacturing, Field

Education & Experience

- Electrical Engineering related;

- Master with at least 2 years electrical design work experience; Bachelor with at least 4 years electrical design work experience;

- At least 1 year work experience in global company.

Must Have Requirement:

Understand wiring diagram

Familiarity on electrical component characteristic for selection

Familiarity on international electrical codes and standards

Team-work spirit and self-motivation

Preferred Requirement:

Experiences with FMEA, DOE

Experience with E3 Series

General knowledge on Elevator industry

Experiences in VF Application

Familiar with the Safety Certification by TUV

Experience with Labview or MiniTab

Logical thinking and pro-active

Language:

Good in written and spoken English, CET-6 preferred

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office Tools

Other Key Competencies:

Creative and open mind, working hard and smart, good teamwork and ethic

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Product Development work experience at global company is appreciated.
