Role Purpose:

To provide expertise in the areas of Learning & Development, career development, competency development by supporting the designing and delivery of products and services that creates value to Borouge. Supports the implementation of strategies to develop the careers and competency level of all employees for all locations in PTE, with a special focus on either Asia Pacific or Middle East, in close co-operation with Competence Centre (Learning & Development) Human Capabilities.

Responsibilities:

·Support the implementation of human capabilities' plans

·Support the promotion of effective people management within Borouge Asia Pacific, by developing and communicating policy processes and tools in training and development, competency development, career development

·Ensure that company staff are competently developed and coached to implement business objectives by prioritising expertise in design & implementation of learning tools

·Participate in the design and development of competency and career management

·Maintain competency plans and roadmaps

·Design, implement, track, maintain and update competency profiles and associated development interventions

·Ensures smooth implementation of competency and assurance within region / team

·Conduct region / team level training needs analysis (include data collection, analysis, recommendations) with a view towards development solutions

·Design, implement, track and maintain training plans, training budgets, training roadmaps and training programmes

·Implement evaluation processes and procedures to ensure quality delivery of learning and development

·Ensure training information is updated to facilitate reports

·Be responsible for specific competence areas:

? Participate in the design and development of competency and career management

? Maintain competency plans and roadmaps

? Implement, track, maintain and update competency profiles

? Design, develop, implement, review, track and maintain training plans, training roadmaps and training programmes. This could be done in consultation with subject matter experts

·Provide train-the-trainer expertise

·Facilitate workshops but may not conduct training

·Support the implementation of administrative requirements such as audit findings

·Support the maintenance of HRIS

·Support the implementation of the People Day processes for talent and succession management

·Support career development for all employees so as to facilitate growth and development

·Support and implement Emiratisation plan through development actions for UAE Nationals in Asia Pacific.

·Support the design of selection tools

Skills:

S1. Education

·University degree with postgraduate qualification in HRD or HRM

S2. Experience

·3-5 years experience in the planning and implementation of competency development, career development and training in a large international establishment

·Experience in training and competency development in Asia Pacific markets

·Knowledge of relevant systems and processes

·Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and regulations

·Understanding of Borouge and its businesses

·Organizational development, facilitation skills

·Training design, analysis and process

·Knowledge in HRIS

·Experience in project management

·Excellent in spoken and written English

·Consulting and coaching ability

·Interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
