Role Synopsis

Production manager is the key position in the plant as team leader for production area, and take responsibility to look after daily operation and communication with internal customer fulfill the demand requirement safe and smooth. Also will be the stand in for plant manager in case plant manager is absent.

Key Accountabilities

To manage all aspects of production operations including base oil terminating Blending, filling operations and raw material warehouse to ensure production targets are achieved with a high level of operational effectiveness with the minimum possible lead times and operating costs

To contribute to the production and capacity planning of the plant operations are executed within the planned schedules with the required quality and lead times

To co-ordinate with procurement department to ensure availability of raw materials & packaging to meet production schedule requirements taking

To co-ordinate the receipt and discharging of base oils received by ship & to ensure that terminal operations are conducted in a safe manner meeting all local a third party inspection requirement & avoiding demurrage charges.

To ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and productive manner & to ensure that equipment downtimes are minimised through planned condition monitoring.

To control and report on production operation and effectiveness including the management and control of raw material inventories, minimising wastage or loss.

To ensure that production control and quality management procedures are complied with at all levels.

To ensure plant areas are maintained in a clean & safe operating condition with high levels of good housekeeping minimising risks of loss or damage.

To ensure planned and co-ordinated work flow through all plant operations and maximise plant productivity.

To ensure that all workers including contractors who work in production area have received enough HSSE training and all production operations are complied with BP HSSE standards.

Essential Education

Bachelor or above degree in management or engineering.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements

8 years working experience in production, at least 3 years of production management experience.

Mastery on HSSE Management System.

Proficiency in both written & oral English.

Skill in MS Office.

Professional in lubricant product and production knowledge preferred.

Skill in implementing International Standards Organization (ISO) management system.

Strong communication and coordination skill, strong accountability.

Experience in setting up a brand new plant or operation team is a plus.
