Role Synopsis

Conduct Quality Control and Manage Lab HSSE of Lubes iGSC Chinese Toll-blenders

Make sure all products manufactured and decanted in toll blenders is compliant with BP’s requirement

Ensure all RM and PM used in toll blender is compliant with BP’s requirement

Ensure all of toll-blenders is compliant with BP’s Global QA Manual"

Key Accountabilities

Supervise QC & Laboratory operation for all Toll-Blending plants.

To compile, manage and control product formulations, RM, PM and FG specifications.

To evaluate and approve suitable packaging material suppliers from quality control point of view.

To assist procurement and marketing in developing new packaging material.

To ensure all incoming raw materials, products and packaging materials meet BP quality standards.

To control nonconforming production and to advise corrective action to be taken.

To handle quality complaints.

To ensure all MSDS in place and distribute to relative department or personnel, maintain them properly and update them on time.

To organize routine cross testing of production samples in timely manner.

To maintain batch QC records and issue COQ (certification of quality) for every batch finished product timely.

To issue blending and filling work orders to Toll-blending QC and update it timely.

To review and evaluate near miss reports from Toll-blending and submit summary report timely.

Essential Education

University degree in Chemical or related field.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years QC experience in manufacturing operations including 2 years management position in a multinational business environment.

Be familiar with ISO9001, 14001 and TS 16949.

Be familiar with China Industry Standards or regulations.

Result oriented with strong analytical and planning skills.

Excellent presentation & communication skills, able to deal with people at all levels.

Good planning and organizing, problem solving and coaching skills

Good written and spoken English.
