Job description:

Preparation of Inquiries and Price Comparisons

Following-up inquiries including monitoring of quotation deadlines

Processing of orders in our Material Handling Software (Penta)

Deadline monitoring of delivery periods and clarification of delivery dates

Assist to clarify technical issues with suppliers through a constant cross-department checking with designers/PM in German and China

Handling order modifications

Correspondence with suppliers

Filing, Organizational Tasks

Creation and following-up of statistics, reports and overviews

Supporting the Purchasing Managers and handling of special tasks

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Necessary education/professional experience

Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering

Negotiating experience and knowledge of Chinese Contract Laws and Regulations

At least 3 - 5 years in sheet metal, fabrication purchasing

Able to work under pressure with tight time schedule and pending orders

MS-office, lotus notes

Fluent business English
