A Leading Consulting Firm American Company
Responsibilities:
? Manages HR activities aimed at attracting, developing and retaining high caliber staff
(e.g. recruiting, induction, compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent
management - including performance feedback and management - and retention efforts)
- Implements global HR programs and designs local programs as necessary
- Teams with/provides counsel to leadership team on key initiatives and HR programs
for both Consulting and Consulting Support Services (CSS) staff
- Assists and advises HRD in semi-annual performance management process and
- compensation review process for consulting staff
- Leads annual performance management process and compensation review for CSS
staff
- Manages (partners with global team) the annual benefits renewal process. Reviews
- local plans and contracts. Manages the relationship with local vendors
? Manages daily operations of the HR and Administrative Services Departments reflecting the highest levels of service orientation
- Oversees and develops team members in HR, Office Services and EA team members in 3 offices by providing performance feedback and coaching/mentoring, and managing the training program
- Develops and manages annual operating budgets
? Takes leadership role in risk management
- Keeps current on employment laws to ensure that all policies/practices are in
concert with local law and Bain policy
- Advises/educates management as necessary
? Actively participates as member of worldwide HR manager team
- ? Participates in regional/experience sharing calls, annual global HR Manager meeting
- ? Actively involves in, in some occasions drives major HR projects on ad-hoc basis
? Takes leadership role in ensuring effective and efficient HR/Admin processes and policies
that meet the current and future local business needs; makes recommendations for
improvements of same in order to remain competitive within local market and to assist
in the attraction and retention of talent
? Performs miscellaneous job-related duties and special projects as needed
Requirements:
? Comprehensive knowledge of all functional areas of Human Resources (including but not
limited to detailed knowledge of Chinese employment laws and working knowledge of HK
employment laws); such knowledge would typically be gained through about 8 (or more)
years of progressive Human Resource experience (including 4-5 years' experience
managing a team).
? Demonstrated experience acting as a trusted advisor to management regarding
human resource issues
? Demonstrated experience resolving employee relations issues
? Experience in a professional services environment, and in scaling HR operations
during period of growth is highly desirable
? Demonstrated success in managing administrative teams across multiple functions and
multiple locations
? Produce high quality and zero-defect output
? Demonstrated analytic comfort, including ability to use data to generate insights and
recommend actions
? Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills
? Ability to work productively both independently and as an integral member of various
teams
? Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a high standards, fast-paced environment
and to interact successfully with staff at all levels
? Demonstrated success with improving the effectiveness of HR operations, comfortable
challenging the status-quo
? Proficient in both Chinese and English
