A Leading USA Company Chemical Industry
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement the annual territory sales and budget plan. Responsible for delivering sales growth from M$.7 in 2012 to M$5.0 in 2016. Indentify and develop key segment distributor in Germany to supplement efforts to qualify products and support logistics in the region. Major focus is maximizing value obtained in each application. In order to achieve this there will be a need to develop and present a variety of cost in use analyses, in cooperation with Marketing and TS&D, and to gain understanding and commitment from the customer.
- Work with Marketing, Sales Management, and TS&D to develop new business development goals and plans for region that focuses on our prime technologies and highest value selling opportunities.
- Coordinate plant trials and lab work for products at target prospects and customers in the region.
- Work with Sales Management and Marketing to develop and implement pricing that supports business MI goals and maximizes the value of our products solution.
- Ensure corrective actions are rapidly planned and implemented to achieve sales targets and make recommendations on corrective action for ensuring territory margin targets are achieved.
- Provide leadership in the territory to TS&D, Marketing and Customer Service as well as other support functions to achieve "Selling Excellence" performance in the organization
- Provide market intelligence, call/trade reports, resources for project team trials. Communicate customer unmet needs to assist in prioritizing global resources for project activity, TS&D work and technology development programs to meet the growth needs of the business with longer term potential to develop and lead their own team in the region
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree with major in chemical or engineering
- 10 yrs of successful sales experience preferably in the Specialty Chemical or Formulated products industry
- Open-minded approach to new application areas and attention to detail on analysis and presentation
- Technical background consisting of experience in metered dispensing equipment, manufacturing process support or engineering, chemical engineering, or chemical industry TS&D and/or university degree in chemistry or engineering preferred
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of an organization
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral English
- Ability to creatively solve technical problems at customer site
