Quality Manager
Location: Zhang Jiagang Plant
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall effective leadership of quality functions in ZJG plant, In its entirety, with responsibility and accountability for incoming/in-process/FG inspection, quality issue analysis, lead or involvement in quality issues corrective actions, supply quality control, and continue improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Define the appropriate and adequate procedures and measures of control for the process and satisfy client's expectation by meeting the quality standards;
- Branch expert in understanding ISO 9001-2008 requirements and Product Code Compliance requirements (Example: ICC and ETA)
- Work with the Branch and Home Office in reviewing and developing (as required) documented work instructions
- Participate in company-wide meetings with all quality managers
- Participate in internal quality audits at the branch and at other branches
- Work with Home Office to research product problems, contain nonconforming product, and research root cause for problems
- Setup, improve and manage the quality standards for raw materials, in-process products and finished products. Design new, complex or innovative measures, tests, sampling methods and other procedures that ensure that these standards are met;
- Evaluate manufacturing processes, systems and technology and recommend changes that will improve the quality of finished products;
- Evaluate quality data and reports to identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures;
- Lead or coordinate the NCR issues report, analysis, corrective actions and preventive actions from root cause both plant internal and vendor;
- Lead the FPC progress, and provide the professional testing result and analysis for its approval;
- Makes commitments to quality plans and quality target for the plant management;
- Reports on Quality at Plant Management Reviews;
- Supervises preparation of all quality reports and analyzes reports to identify problems;
- Performs special studies and analyses at the request of plant management;
- Contacts customers or suppliers regarding resolution of quality or product liability problems of a technical nature (includes customer and supplier visits);
- Periodically audit the vendors, and provide the professional audit report to vendor for their continual improvement;
- Responsible for disposition of all defective materials;
- Drives Cost of Quality Improvements;
- Project management in areas involving Quality;
- Directs or assists in the selection, hiring and training of quality engineers and technicians.
- Educate, train and monitor the performance of quality assurance inspectors and other staff to ensure that they understand and comply with established quality procedures and standards;
- Motivation and development of sub-ordinate staffs to enhance their effectiveness and knowledge;
- Performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or over in Mechanical, Engineering or equivalent;
- 8 years experience in quality management with at least 3 years prior supervisory experience.;
- Experience in TS16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 standards and facilitating continuous improvement using formal quality methodology and tools;
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Must be able to effectively work with cross functional groups;
- The ability to fluently speak and write in both Mandarin Chinese and English;
- Have 6-sigma knowledge, prefer to black belt;
- The experiences of lean manufacturing will be plus.
