Job description:
The Specialty Products Division of ADM China supplies a range of high quality ingredients to food and pharmaceutical manufacturers in China
Job Purpose:
-Support and develop sales of the broad portfolio of ADM specialty ingredients with direct customers and via distribution partners in North China
Main Responsibilities:
1.Implement aggressive sales growth strategies with ADM's distribution agents, to deliver strong growth for ADM's ingredients portfolio in North China
2.Work with Supervisor to develop the commercial support structure in North China and implement strategies for future success
3.Visit all key customers with distributors on an on-going and regular basis and ensure customer needs are being met
4.Ensure distributors are fully supported with timely product information, pricing, market information, product samples and any other sales support tools to assist them in maximizing their market effectiveness
5.Work with distributors to develop and maintain strategic sales plans. Identify key business opportunities and detail action plans for increasing sales
6.Provide a written monthly report to ADM Management detailing distributor activity for the month
Manage forecasts and inventory and assist Customer Service where necessary on product importation, logistics and customer support
7.Develop detailed account plans for each key account assigned
Ensure ADM is appropriately represented at relevant trade shows and industry events
8.Prepare sales and expenditure budget reports as and when required by ADM Management
9.Diligent implementation of all company policy requirements including reporting, compliance, training and other items as assigned by Management
10.Execution of all other tasks as deemd appropriate and assigned by ADM Management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Education
§ Degree qualification in Food Science or Chemical related discipline
Professional Experience
§ At least 3 years sales experience in food ingredients business or the same customer resources, MNC experience is preferred
§ Familiar with Chinese sales environment in B2B field.
§ Sweetener knowledge and customer resources in North China is required.
Skills
§ Fluency in written & oral English
§ Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
§ Positive, 'can-do' attitude with open minded approach
