Key Purpose of Role:
Dedicated engineer to focus on core technologies of heat and cold meters through hands-on research and development while proactively support whole development team through his domain expertise

Key Responsibilities
·Fulfill development tasks of components, modules and entire heat or cold meters considering aspects of functions, performances and costs
·Coordination of the development work from the research project’s start until the handover to the development
·Ensuring timely, functional, installable and cost-efficient development of products
·Coordination of experiments

Key Accountabilities
·Define technical concepts/specifications for heat/cold meter components/modules
·Development of constructional and conceptual solutions
·Supporting the purchasing department in the supplier selection
·Arrange, prepare and develop experimental set-ups for components/modules/meters
·Testing of measuring and testing equipment
·Analysis of experimental results and ensuring realization
·Support design reviews, both customer and internal as required
·Participate in project planning and meet committed timelines
·Ensure all technical deliverables of heat or cold meters within department well documented and managed
·Follow all Health and Safety requirements


Professional Experience
·Bachelor degree above in Sciences or Engineering. Master degree or PHD is preferred
·Solid knowledge of heat/cold/water meters. Experience of electricity or gas meter is a plus
·Full lifecycle industrial electronics product development experience is expected
·Project management senses is a good plus
Experienced in all related product tests. Proficient in using standard testing equipment

Qulification and other Requirements
This position offers an excellent opportunity to play a technical lead role in a high-performance and expanding heat/cold meter technical team. This position is ideally suited for a motivated individual who is energetic, takes initiative and has a broad understanding of measurement and sensor technologies for heat/code meters. He will need to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as being able to fit in with a very dynamic, fast pace and global team

Additional Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and diagnosis skills with a common sense approach to problem solving
- Good command of spoken and written English is must; German is definetely a plus
- Team player with demonstrated commitment to growth and continuous improvement;
- Willingness to change and Can-Do attitude
- Professional working experience with Fortune 500 MNCs
