On behalf of Mobile Industrial Robots (Universal Robots’ sister company and part of Teradyne Inc.) we are looking for a new Area Sales Manager.

 

Mobile Industrial Robots was established in 2013 and is a leading manufacturer of collaborative mobile robots. These unique, collaborative robots are now used by manufacturers in a wide range of industries and healthcare sectors to automate their in-house transportation. As a first mover in the field, Mobile Industrial Robots have enjoyed a rapid worldwide adoption of their unique and innovative robots.

 

As we are experiencing great interest from the Chinese market for our robots, we are now looking to add another Area Sales Manager to our already existing team of 10 people team in China. You will drive sales and support to our Chinese distributors in collaboration with your colleagues based in both China and Denmark. Area Sales Manager, China 区域销售经理    


                                                                              

Areas of Responsibility:

 

·       Managing Distributor Relationships, tracking project opportunities and providing sales support.

·       Commercial and technical evaluation of potential distributors in China.

·       Establishment and development of new distributors in China.

·       Expand and strengthen Mobile Industrial Robot’s position in China.

·       Daily feedback from market and risk control.

·       Be responsible for reaching ambitious turnover and profit targets and you will take care of a professional after sales together with the technical support department.

·       Visits to end costumers.

·       Participation in PR and marketing assignments.

·       Identify new national and international customers and business opportunities.

·       Manage customer relationships, maintain, or develop knowledge about the customer organization and build strong relationships with key decision makers on various customer functions & levels.

·       With focus on reporting, volume planning and forecasting, you will use existing tools for customer visit reports, contract management and the budget process in an accurate and timely manner.

·       As sparring partner for your distributors, you have the technical knowhow to give in-depth product and application information and provide your distributors with advice.

·       Coordinate and communicate internally with all stakeholders and drive actions and decisions including the distribution of market information as well as competitive intelligence into the organization.

 

 

About You

 

 

Professional competencies:

 

·       3-5 years’ work experience with selling industrial automation equipment through distributors (experience with robot industry a plus).

·       Bachelor-degree or above within the commercial/technical field.

·       A fast learner, who is quickly able to familiarize with Mobile Industrial Robots technology and convey the advantages to the customer.

·       Strong technical sales skills.

·       Strong experience with selling through channel partners (experience with robotics or automation System Integrators a plus).

·       Experience with project sales of capital equipment (production machinery) to manufacturing customers.

·       Experience growing and developing strong channel partners, including developing the sales pipeline, setting targets and managing the partner through a shared business plan.

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.

·       Experience from an internationally engaged company will be considered an advantage.

·       Significant business travel required (estimated 80 days a year).
