Missions:

- To set-up and to standardize the working procedure of the Engineering Department.

- To set-up and to standardize the tools of the Engineering Department.

- To set-up and to standardize the technical principles and calculation methods to be followed by the Engineering Department when designing:

o Layout

o PID

o Civil work guidelines

o Basic Data of the equipment (tanks, structure, handling devices, mechanical equipment, fluids, …)

o Basic Engineering of the equipment

o Detail Engineering of the equipment

o Functional analysis

o Electrical scheme

o Automation

o Turn-key equipment specification

o …

- To define the daily work of the member of the Engineering Department. To check it.

- To participate to key technical meeting with Customers, Partners, Suppliers.

- To exchange with our French & Finish colleagues about Engineering good practices.

- To manage Research & Development projects.

- To train the member of his/her team.

- To participate to the continuous improvement and feed-back of the Engineering Department

Position and key figures:

- Line management:

Head of Engineering is responding to the General Manager

-Internal/external customers and interfaces：

Mainly: General Manager, Customers, Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Designers, Purchasers.

-Mobility：

Punctually. Can be scheduled. China and abroad.

Profile:

- Electro-mechanical engineer.

- Experience in managing a design office in an industrial and international environment.

- Experience in chemical or electrolytical surface treatment business would be very highly appreciated.

- Proactive, autonomous, rigorous, solution oriented.

- Fluent in Chinese & English both oral and in written. French would be appreciated, but not a must.
