RESPONSIBILITIES

- Establish annual EHS targets and objectives for 5 remote Distribution Centers (DC) in Greater China, while considering different situations of all sites. Draft, review and submit yearly AOP plan on safety.

- Maintain and ensure compliance with national and local regulations, company standards, organize Compliance Audit, Product Compliance procedure and issues, identify improvement opportunities and corrective actions.

- Maintain and update the Business Continuity Plan and practice drill based on schedule.

- Establish and maintain the EHS system effective and continuously looking for improvement opportunities for all remote DCs.

- Provides periodic guidance to remote DC leadership members on major aspects of environment, health and safety including, but not limited to: Machine Safety, PPE, Emergency Response Plans, Mobile Equipment, Crane and Hoist, Confined Space, Hot Work, Asbestos, Hearing Conservation, LOTO, etc. and all associated training and Job Safety Analysis/Risk assessment.

- Follow the global utilized safety vision and work with all levels of employees to create and maintain safety culture.

- Provide technical expertise to line management team members of the remote DCs on key governmental regulations pertaining to environment, health and safety.

- Provide assistance and coaching to related management members(part time on EHS affairs from all remote DCs), support these talent members to grow up.

Monthly working tasks - Routine:

- Prepare the monthly reports on safety and environmental sustainability.

- Following the A3 plan on monthly-basis.

- Receive information from Global and Regional(including China level) and distribute to country level, as well as localization to global policies and SOPs.

- Guide and audit all DC manager/supervisors to implement safety theme/topics. Held special EHS meeting to site level if necessary.

 - Organize monthly call to have all part time EHS employees involved, review related EHS progress, tasks and next month’s priorities.

Monthly working tasks - Non-routine:

- Contact with local authorities on agency visit affairs and other important issues.

- Visit all remote DCs on Global & Regional requirement validation, as well as training and audit.

- Study available tech. methods on sustainability, consider how to implement them to improve “Green“ level of MG China.

- Review and support local team to analysis incident and related corrective actions.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

- Bachelor required, preferably with engineering background.

- 5 years' work experience on EHS management is preferred.

- Must be proficient in oral English and English writing.

- Positive attitude, ambitious to change and embrace challenges.

- Always willing to learn; Good adaptability.

- Good interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively with people at various levels and across departments.

- Good self-discipline and time management.

- Require 20-30% travelling

- Individuals that are able to showcase scalability. Or rather, capability to cope and perform under increased or expanding responsibilities
