The ABB Site Manager lead all on-site activities of a project to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start-up, construction and/or erection, commissioning, maintenance phases.

- As a site manager, you will serve on site as ABB’s prime interface with customer, authority, sub-contractors and project engineering/ site personnel, on all contractual matters, plan project on-site activities with Project Manager including necessary local resources, equipment and milestones.
- Coordinate agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy, utilize effective project management skills involving managing cost margin, project schedule and procurement of equipment to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery with quality deliverable within cost.
- Ensure timely updates and submission of site progress report, ensure effective and efficient QA/QC process and Testing and commissioning work, ensure all documentations with regards to handling systems are kept in order and latest revision is used for the construction work on site, this includes up-dating of working documents to as-built drawings, ensure correct handling, storage and installation of ABB-delivered equipment which includes coordinating site storage as well as shipment logistics to assure timely site delivery of equipment and material, considering e.g. local custom clearance procedures, etc.
- Facilitate and coordinate site team logistics and resources, ensure detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the ABB H&S plan, ensure all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project.
- Empowered to suspend any activities on site (be it by ABB personnel or by subcontractors) in case of OHS violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that ABB employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.
- Safety Observation Tour (SOT)/ Team safety meetings, lead job hazard assessment meetings and review risk assessment and method statement for relevant jobs, manage the sub-contractors on site hired by ABB.

- Must have Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Project Management related to Project Site work.
- Preferred to have knowledge in Electrical Installation and Commissioning either in Offshore or Plant Projects.
- Mandatory to have experience in Offshore/ FPSO E-House project.
