岗位职责:

OP Cashier Function

? Integrate orders from clinics and calculate medical charges

? Good digest of business rules like Direct Billing eligibility, contractual discount, exclusions, etc and put into right implementation

? Work with Pre-cert. team on patients’ payment method management

? Collect payments / outstanding balance from patient

? Help patients to finish insurance claim documents

? Help patients with cashiering related inquiries, and direct patients to right person for non-cashiering related inquiries

Back-up for OP Cashier Coordinator and/or Cashier Data Analyst

? Help to handle difficult cases if can’t not be solved by a junior cashier

? Model the way for cashiers, demonstrate hands on exemplary customer service

? Report any new situations or challenges to supervisors and managers,

? Full understanding of IT system and actively identify IT gaps for improvement

? Follow up on incomplete bills by the review of multiple system reports, to ensure timely bill handover

? Help supervisor on digesting, distribution and training of new cashiering policies

? Help supervisor to coordinate with Training, Patient Services and Marketing to improve customer services

? Help supervisor on proper training for all cashiers especially new staff

? Help supervisor on team performance review

? Study Un-invoiced Orders Report on regular basis, take follow up actions and cleanse the report

? Be the back-up person when Cashier Data Analyst is on leave, including tax Fapiao management, self-pay AR follow up, cash and credit card refund, UFCO case management, 

? Help supervisor to prepare Frontline Reconciliation Report

? Responsible for all inter-co transfer within Shanghai United Family Hospital to other facilities

? Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein as may be assigned or delegated
