The Marketing Manager, China, will be reporting to the General Manager, China. Based at our office in Shanghai, you will be part of a team that has sub-regional offices and teams to cover the Greater China region. You will be responsible for providing strategic support for communications and corporate marketing programs in Greater China, under the guidance and collaboration with the General Manager, that support and advance the goals of the region. You will be the connection between the global marketing team in HQ and the regional office and be responsible in devising, customizing and executing the regional marketing and communications (digital/social and traditional) strategies and programs that appropriately position UR, its product and services portfolio to key stakeholders, distributors and end users both within the region and globally. You will also provide some content generation for internal and external marketing collaterals and be involved with the regional sales strategies and activities.

The final candidate will be a high energy, intelligent professional who thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment. In addition, it is expected that this individual will have the combination of talent and drive to devise effective regional marketing strategies and programs and execute them well. This individual will also have the responsibility for the regional sales & marketing support team and interact on a regular basis with the General Manager as well as be responsible for strategizing, planning, budgeting, sourcing, negotiating, implementing, managing and advising on all fronts with our stakeholders and colleagues in Universal Robots. This includes direct responsibility for marketing strategies, planning, budgeting, analytics, financial performance, business services and reporting. Leading a team of 3, the main responsibilities of the candidate include:

• Design, execute, and manage overall China marketing and communications strategy, budget and plan.
• Organize and manage participation in trade shows as well as customer and media events.
• Manage external PR partners in producing press releases and external communications via print, online, and social media.
• Generate new marketing and promotional material as well as localize global content for the China market including print and online media, company website, etc.
• Develop new media channels specific to automation and build partnerships with industry influencers both online and print.
• Creates and deliver emails, direct mails, brochures, newsletters, and other publications as well as develop branded merchandise.
• Manage communications with and provide marketing support for channel partners.
• Monitor media coverage and track industry trends.
• Maintain Wechat and Weibo account including promotion and analysis etc..
• Help qualify opportunities and assist in sales activity management planning. Manage Sales Activity Management tools such as pipeline tracking and distributor targeting.
• Government relationship activity support

Requirement:

· Bachelor degree or higher in Business, Marketing or Communications

· Strong communication skills with high proficiency in English.

· Experience working for a company in industrial automation would be an advantage

· Have a minimum of 5 years in similar role and job scope working for MNCs, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

· Possess a good understanding of public relations work and has experience working with public relations.

· Digital marketing and KPI to drive lead generation

· Proficient in social media activity and monitoring

· Proficient in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and techniques,

· Good analytical and negotiation skills

· Good business acumen and experience working with sales directly or indirectly
