Job Title: Senior Buyer
Report To: Procurement and Inventory Control Manager
Job Statement

Responsible for purchasing spares parts and wear parts, and ensure the good availability of responsible parts. Working closely with global inventory planning to balance the stock at the right level. Working closely with global procurement team, casting procurement team, capacity planning team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

？ Item master control and update in the system
？ Make the purchasing planning and follow-up orders
？ Ensure that all the materials required are ordered properly and timely
？ Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
？ Review and control the inventory level and report to the purchasing manager in time
？ OSMI parts clean-up
？ Establish appropriate and positive relationship with the suppliers in co-operation with purchasing manager
？ Provide necessary reports
？ Other tasks assigned by the procurement and inventory control Manager

Relationship:

Assist the following staff with the dissemination of information
？ DSC APAC General Manager
？ DSC Manager
？ DSC Inventory control and procurement manager
？ Warehouse Manager, Order Office Manager and Logistics Manager
？ Global Sourcing and Procurement Manager
？ Global Inventory Controller

Qualifications & Experience

？ Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering /Supply Management /Business/Commercial or related field
？ Minimum 2 years’ experience in the purchasing
？ Family with machining or casting industry is better
？ Able to travel
？ Knowledge of SAP
？ Highly motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills
？ Fluent English speaking, reading and writing
