Interact with the material development and production teams to ensure customer desired 3D filament are produced at the highest standards

Responsibilities:

Manage customer pulled R&D filament production

1. Coordinate with Business lead, material development team and customers to produce 3D filaments
2. Ensure on-time completion of all production related activities to specified quality
3. Be a point of contact and link between the R&D and production teams
4. Be the knowledge lead for Clariant's 3D filament production
5. Reduce the time to take filaments from R&D to customers and to market

   
   

Project management and development of internal and external partners and experts

1. Work with European based AM / 3D lead and team members to aid global R&D
2. Deliver performance customer pulled 3D printing materials working with AM / 3D team
3. Network within Clariant to leverage internal capabilities and knowledge
4. Identify, develop and maintain external resources to accelerate development

Ensure EHS and product safety

1. Ensure safe working environment for all personnel
2. Avoid spills, material losses and otherwise negative impact of the environment
3. Ensure product safety in production process; avoid cross contaminations

Manage and develop people

1. Work with production and research members to ensure productivity
2. Provide regular feedback and coaching to direct reports on performance & development opportunities

Create and maintain personal development plans, identify and promote talent in the organization

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or above in chemistry or engineering related
2. 5+ years related experience
3. Good skill of interpersonal and English
4. 3D filament development experience
5. Experience introducing new 3D filament into production
6. Project management, collaborative development and plastics industry experience
7. Experienced managing teams

Expert level of experience with polymers, compounding, master batching and production methods
