Your Goal is to
Develop into the International Purchasing function regarding functional and leadership skills and competencies
Reach the competencies and leadership skills in order to be able to take over a lead buyer function for a specific product group / region
Be able to set purchasing targets and goals for the respective product group / or region
Be able to set up a supplier portfolio (qualification of suppliers based on HOERBIGER standards)
Be able to support / shadow a experienced buyer
Be in direct contact with suppliers, including an increase of responsibility with the time
Successfully complete each module of the Trainee Program achieving the set goals
Develop a deep understanding of the HOERBIGER organization with at least two different Business Units as well as
Understand intercultural differences in international work teams and tasks
Establish a strong international network on different hierarchical levels

Your Profile
You recently graduated at a university / university of applied sciences in Industrial Engineering with your main subject in the area of Purchasing or respective practical experience (e.g. internship, thesis)
You gained experiences in International Management
Ideally you have knowledge in Manufacturing processes
You are fluent in Chinese and English; you have basic knowledge in German
You have gained solid user knowledge in MS Office tools, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint
You like working in a team, and learned to manage arising conflicts
Having gained scientific knowledge, however you think and work in a pragmatic way
High level of international mobility and open to travel
Valid work permit for China
