Responsibilities:

- Define and draft system scope and objectives and translate these business requirements into design specifications ensuring that requirements are effectively met, tested and implemented
- Proactively research products, procedures, and/or workflow needs and identify ways to capture, validate and integrate information to improve overall business process performance
- Identify and resolve gaps between new and existing business processes and applications and facilitate implementation of new business processes and modifications
- Liaise between the IS team and the business to agree on user requirement scope and delivery
- Understanding Business Process Management (BPM) role with customers. Ensuring business processes are owned, defined, documented and understanding how IT adds value to those processes
- Build strong strategic relationships with large and complex customer groups, developing deep understanding of business strategy, future direction, changes and needs, lead key engagement initiatives to understand demand
- Develop customer account plans, drive accurate customer forecasting & demand planning, and development of performance metrics and customer scorecards to define and monitor delivery of value
- Lead high-level investigations on requirements specifications and feasibility studies and advise on practical alternatives
- Lead the creation of business impact assessments and business readiness plans to determine the impacts of changes on business units and roles
- Proactively identify opportunities for IT to deliver innovative solutions to customer issues/challenges and situations where leading edge technological innovations can be deployed to business advantage
- Proactively identify ways for IT to gain commitment to IT initiatives, using specialist knowledge to market established, changed or new IT services to customer groups
- In addition to the core Business Analyst responsibilities, this role may be required to take on one or more specialization areas
- The amount of time and effort dedicated to these specialization areas will depend on Taizhou site and the specific circumstances and needs of the business
- Work in areas of specialization are to be agreed with the manager ahead of time and will be balanced with the core BA responsibilities so that the role is able to be managed within a normal work schedule
- In some cases, these specialization areas may take priority over core BA responsibilities. This will be agreed with the Manager in advance


Requirements:

- University Bachelor Degree or above or equivalent education background
- Demonstrated 3+ yrs direct experience in manufacturing execution system (MES) , SAP MM or process control system
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System(e.g. Pas-X), SAP MM or process control system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good oral and written English in collaboration with oversea colleagues
- Strong influencing, networking and team working skills
- Evidence of leading and developing innovative solutions
- Knowledge of bio-pharma leading edge trends, relevance for adoption and implementation of IT innovative solutions
- Able to manage negotiations, expectations and solutions across complex groups
- A proven track record of delivering results
- Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
- Comprehensive understanding of IT Operating model - ability to interact and influence its enhancement and improvement where required
