For our new working station of our Shanghai office in Taicang we are seeking an

Accountant (f/m)
Duties

• Provide advisory to our client and its parent company on their accounting, business administration and taxation needs
• Preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) including the preparation of the daily accounting voucher and accounting bookkeeping as well as the reports for the accounts receivables, accounts payables and detailed list of fixed assets
• Prepare the tax return of Value-Added Tax (“VAT”) , Business Tax (“BT”), Enterprise Income Tax (“EIT”) and corresponding additional documents and filing of the respective tax returns
• Assure timely completion and communication of project status internally
• Taking ownership of the engagement, anticipating the issues and developing a plan to complete the engagement in time
• Research on special accounting issues and discussions with the responsible manager for further guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting
• Chinese as native language, fluent in English, and knowledge of German language as an asset
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting, including preparing financial statements and communicating with clients
• Strong knowledge of Chinese GAAP, HGB and IFRS a plus and basic knowledge of the Chinese tax system
• Proven expertise in MS Office with a working knowledge of MS Excel, accounting software experience (e.g. KINGDEE, SAP) a plus
• Strong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills required
